The world wants to know what J.K. Rowling could possibly have up her sleeve for her upcoming project Pottermore, but if there's one thing Daniel Radcliffe doesn't want it to involve, it's Harry Potter himself.
"I know nothing about that whatsoever," he told the Los Angeles Times in a recent interview. ?I?m sure that Jo will be writing a lot more in the coming years. I?m sure she has a lot more in her than we?ve read and a lot more stories to tell.?
He added with a laugh, "As long as they don't involve Harry, I'm quite happy to buy them."
Fortunately for him, the project has already been confirmed by Rowling's reps to not be a new book. In fact, rumors have placed the project closer to an interactive social networking experience involving new stories and most likely an MMORPG component.
Even if Rowling did write a new "Potter" book, Radcliffe said he likely wouldn't be on board to return to playing Harry. "I think that would be a bit odd," he said. "The idea of going back to something after 10 or 20 years? At that point, I will have worked 20 years to establish a career outside of it, and at that point to go back to it would feel a little self-defeating."
Still, he hasn't completely written the idea off. "I could feel completely different at that time, but at this moment, it feels like it would be strange and not the way it would or should go," Radcliffe said.
